November 11th at 6:00 pm

Bozeman Dance Academy Event Studio at 346 Gallatin Drive, Bozeman, MT

For this vivid and poignant performance, dancers and choreographers from Raison D’être Dance Project join cellist Else Trygstad-Burke, pianist Lori Rosolowsky, and an orchestra conducted by Tobin Stewart to perform two new works choreographed to music written in the aftermath of the First World War. Vaughan-Williams’ English Folk Song Suite (cello and piano) will be followed by Edward Elgar’s powerful Cello Concerto in E Minor.

The performance honors the memory and legacy of the soldiers, nurses, and civilians impacted by this global conflict, and commemorates the 100th anniversary of the WWI armistice.

Free with suggested donations; all donations at the door will go to the Montana Veteran’s Foundation.
