Perfection of the Symphonies

Perfection of the Symphonies was inspired by the story of the orphan girl musicians at the Ospedale della Pietà in Venice, Italy, where Antonio Lucio Vivaldi held the position of violin master for many years. The music for this project consists entirely of compositions by Vivaldi, many of which were written during his time at the Conservatorio dell'Ospedale della Pietà. This work is a collaboration with a live Baroque chamber ensemble.
