Raison D'être Dance Project was founded in 2017 by Erin Levy and Genevieve Trygstad-Burke in Bozeman, Montana. The idea was born out of their deep-rooted love of dance and music, and the desire to share their artistic passions with the community. Our purpose is to foster collaboration with artists, musicians, choreographers, and philanthropic organizations...while providing an avenue for visions and ideas. Raison D’être Dance Project continues to operate as a 501(c)(3) under an Advisory Board of Directors, Executive Director Genevieve Trygstad-Burke, and Co-Artistic Directors Erin Levy, Deann Snyder & Suzann Kienast-Brown. The company dancers contribute to marketing, costume design, event planning, fundraising and class program development as committee members and leaders.
